Economics Teacher – Join an Outstanding Ofsted School in Westminster (KS4 and 5) Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong commitment to inspiring a love of economics and financial literacy in young people? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join our thriving, values-driven secondary school community. It holds an Outstanding Ofsted rating, offering a rich and inclusive learning environment. The school is committed to the intellectual development of students, encouraging them to explore and deepen their understanding of economic principles and global markets. Role: Economics Teacher As an Economics Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of economics. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of economic theory, current affairs, and financial concepts. Your role will include: As an Economics Teacher , you should be planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Economics lessons to students of various age groups (KS4 and KS5). Encouraging students to apply economic analysis and critical thinking skills in various contexts. Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Economics department. As a qualified Economics Teacher , you will be expected to attend departmental meetings. Key Qualities We Are Looking For: A strong passion for Economics and a desire to support students' economic understanding. A recognized teaching qualification in Economics, or equivalent. Experience in teaching Economics to secondary-aged students is highly desirable. A passion for developing young people academically and critically. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a stimulating and collaborative team.
