Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher looking to inspire young learners in Key Stage 2? We are seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join a dynamic and welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Barking ASAP. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to Year 4 students. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through innovative and engaging activities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student development. Contribute to the school’s wider community, including staff meetings, training, and extracurricular activities. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4. A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies. Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for creating an engaging learning experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
