Job description
A friendly and well-run primary school in Newham is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of the school premises. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a key role in providing a safe and welcoming environment for young pupils and staff. The Role You will oversee the daily upkeep and security of the school site, ensuring buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained. Working closely with the school leadership team, you will manage opening and closing procedures, carry out routine health and safety checks, and respond promptly to maintenance issues as they arise. Your responsibilities will include completing basic repairs, coordinating contractors, supporting room setups for school activities and events, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and safeguarding requirements. The role requires a hands-on, flexible approach and a strong understanding of site safety within a primary school setting.
