Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Outstanding Ofsted-rated Secondary Academy. Borough: Harrow (Outer London, England). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding high school seeks an enthusiastic Spanish ECT to join its successful MFL faculty. The school requires a teacher focused on developing core linguistic skills and cultural awareness in younger students. This environment offers intensive, personalized mentoring within a high-achieving, structured setting. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Language Leader: Instructing MFL (Spanish) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Fluency Facilitator: Driving high engagement by delivering immersive lessons focused on communication and core linguistic structures. Cultural Correspondent: Assisting with language exchanges and contributing to after-school MFL enrichment clubs. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Spanish. Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS). Support: Intensive, bespoke ECT induction and mentoring programme and strong departmental support.
