Job description: Field Service Engineer London Based Are you a problem-solver with a knack for fixing things and a passion for delivering top-quality service? Due to continued growth, were on the hunt for a Field Service Engineer to join my client's expanding team in London. We have positions within the M25 area across North / Southeast / East London. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on, customer-facing role with plenty of variety and long-term career potential. What We Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience between £38-40k 30 days paid holiday (including Bank Holidays) Healthcare Company pension scheme Fully equipped company vehicle & fuel card Mobile phone & tablet for work on the go Responsibilities: As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of the company keeping the customers in the high street food retail sector up and running. Your day-to-day will include: Planning and attending site visits in line with customer service agreements Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical & mechanical equipment Following up on repairs where additional parts are needed Carrying out scheduled Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Ensuring all work meets safety standards and company policies Keeping your van stocked, clean, and organised Ordering parts and updating jobs via our internal system Taking part in a 1-in-4 Saturday rota Requirements: Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Proven Field Service Engineer experience A full UK driving licence Confident working both independently and as part of a team Clear communication and customer service skills Good IT knowledge and ability to use job management software A cool head under pressure Nice-to-Haves (Not Essential) Experience with battery and mains-operated floor cleaning equipment Previous PAT testing experience This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on problem-solving, and wants to be part of a growing company that truly values its engineers.
