PE Teacher – Therapeutic SEN Independent School – Lambeth Are you a passionate PE Teacher looking to make a real difference? A therapeutic SEN independent school in Lambeth is looking for an energetic, patient, and creative Physical Education Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is more than just a teaching role—it’s an opportunity to help students with special educational needs build confidence, develop motor skills, and discover a love for movement in a safe and supportive environment . You’ll be working with students who thrive on encouragement, structure, and a tailored approach to physical activity. What You’ll Be Doing: Deliver engaging, adaptive, and inclusive PE lessons for students with a range of SEN needs Foster a supportive and fun learning environment where students feel comfortable participating Use movement, exercise, and sport as a tool to boost confidence, teamwork, and emotional well-being Work alongside therapists and SEN specialists to integrate physical activity into broader learning and development goals Organize and run sports sessions, outdoor learning activities, and enrichment programs Maintain a safe and structured environment, ensuring all students can access PE in a way that suits them What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant coaching qualifications Experience working with SEN students (or a strong passion to learn and adapt) A creative and patient approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt activities to suit individual needs A belief in the power of movement and sport to support emotional and physical well-being Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff Enhanced DBS check required Why Join This School?
