Music Teacher – Thriving Secondary School – Taunton – September Start Location: Taunton Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A passionate and skilled Music Teacher is required for a thriving secondary school in Taunton. The school has a well-regarded Music department that encourages students to explore and develop their musical talents. Your Role as Music Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Teach a variety of music skills, including performance, composition, and theory. Encourage students to explore a range of musical genres, fostering creativity and self-expression. Support extracurricular activities, such as school performances, music clubs, and student recitals. Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of all students and reflects current musical trends. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified Music Teacher with a passion for the subject and teaching. Strong musical knowledge and experience in both performance and theory. The ability to inspire and engage students across a range of musical abilities and interests. Experience in leading extracurricular music activities would be an advantage. Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
