About the Role: Teach Drama at A Level, inspiring and challenging students to deepen their understanding of dramatic theory, performance practice, and theatrical history. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Support students in developing their performance skills, from acting and directing to stage management and design. Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their creativity and critical thinking skills. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Drama curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and rigorous. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Drama education. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Drama. Demonstrates a passion for teaching Drama and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. Has a good understanding of the A Level Drama specifications and assessment requirements. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
