Job description
The Role: Full-time GCSE Math Teacher to join a diverse and inclusive school community. Deliver GCSE Math lessons that explore diverse mathematical perspectives and experiences. Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes understanding. Develop and implement teaching strategies that cater to the needs of diverse learners. Contribute to the school's commitment to promoting equality and inclusion. About the School: A community-focused secondary school that values diversity and inclusion. A school that truly represents the local diverse community. Strong pastoral support systems in place. Focus on holistic student development. Easily accessible by public transport. The Ideal Candidate: A dedicated and passionate math specialist with a strong focus on student progress. Excellent understanding of the GCSE Math curriculum and assessment requirements. Ability to create engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Strong assessment and feedback skills, with the ability to monitor student progress and provide effective support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Mathematics or a related field. Experience teaching GCSE Math and a proven track record of student success. Knowledge of current assessment practices and curriculum developments.
