Job description
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music ECT to join a creative and high-achieving school in High Wycombe . This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in January 2026. • Music ECT • Creative and Vibrant Secondary School in High Wycombe • Full-time, permanent position • Music ECT role starting January 2026 School Information This High Wycombe school is renowned for its dynamic performing arts programme, excellent facilities, and inclusive culture . The Music Department offers a modern suite of practice rooms, recording studios, and performance spaces. Staff and students share a strong passion for music and creativity, and ECTs receive exceptional support from experienced mentors and department leads. Role Information You will teach Music across KS3–KS4, promoting performance, composition, and appreciation. You’ll also contribute to extra-curricular opportunities such as choirs, ensembles, and school concerts. This role is ideal for an ECT eager to make a positive impact within a thriving creative community. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Music or related field • PGCE and QTS • Ability to teach Music to KS3/4 • Passion for music education and student engagement Salary Paid to scale on MPS Application This Music ECT role provides an exciting opportunity to begin your teaching career in a vibrant High Wycombe school where creativity and collaboration are highly valued.
