Job description
School Librarian – Grammar School, Barnet Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School information: This is a 11 to 18 selective Grammar School in Barnet with a strong academic tradition and a culture of high expectations. The school is proud of its scholarly environment and commitment to literacy, independent learning and academic excellence. The school offers a rigorous curriculum and values enrichment opportunities that support students’ wider intellectual development. Staff benefit from a professional and respectful working environment. Library: The school library is a central learning hub that supports reading, research and independent study. The School Librarian will manage the day-to-day running of the library, promote reading for pleasure and support students in developing research and information literacy skills.
