Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and engaging Teacher of English with a love of literature and a desire to inspire young people? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our thriving English department on a part-time basis in a secondary school in Ealing. About the School: Our school is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where students are encouraged to develop their literacy skills, critical thinking abilities, and appreciation for the power of language. We offer a supportive and stimulating environment where students can explore a wide range of texts and genres. About the English Department: The English department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for fostering students' love of reading, writing, and communication. We offer a rich and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of literary texts and encourages students to develop their own voices and perspectives. About the Role: Teach English Language and/or Literature at Key Stage 3 and/or 4. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the department's curriculum development. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in English. Demonstrates a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
