Job description
A prestigious independent school in Richmond is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join its front office team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-organised and high-performing school environment where strong communication and presentation are highly valued. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, and visitors, the Receptionist will play a key role in maintaining the welcoming and professional atmosphere of the school. Key Responsibilities Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and pupils Managing incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries Maintaining visitor records and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed Providing administrative support to the school office and senior leaders Assisting with pupil records and data entry Supporting general day-to-day office operations The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A professional, calm, and welcoming manner Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment A proactive and reliable approach This independent school in Richmond is known for its strong academic standards, supportive leadership, and well-maintained facilities.
