Job description
Location: Gravesend, Kent Start Date: May 2025 End Date: July 2025 (with the possibility to extend in September 2025) Salary: MPS/UPS Job Type: Full-Time Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school community starting in May 2025. This is a full-time role with the possibility of an extension in September 2025. About the Role: As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons, ensuring that young learners meet their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in the development of students' academic, social, and emotional skills, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 students - Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues - Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom - Support students' emotional and social development - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning - Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities About You: - We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and creative Year 1 Teacher who will inspire and motivate young children.
