Job description
A well-established and respected 11–18 secondary school in Worcester is seeking to appoint a capable and detail-focused School Finance Officer to join its administrative team. This is a full-time, permanent role within a school that values strong financial management as a key part of its operational success. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s day-to-day finances, working closely with senior leaders and administrative colleagues. The Role As School Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency throughout. Key responsibilities include: Managing purchase orders, invoices and reconciliations Monitoring budgets and supporting budget planning Liaising with suppliers and external finance services Maintaining accurate financial records and reports Supporting audits and ensuring financial compliance You will play a trusted role within the school, handling sensitive financial information and contributing to sound decision-making.
