Job description
Are you a motivated and passionate KS2 teacher seeking your next exciting opportunity from January 2026? We are thrilled to offer a permanent position for a KS2 Class Teacher at an Ofsted-rated Outstanding, two-form entry primary school in Walthamstow, East London. This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, and for the right candidate, there is potential for a TLR linked to subject or phase leadership. The Role Position : KS2 Class Teacher (Year group flexible depending on strengths and experience) Location : Walthamstow, East London Start Date : January 2026 Contract : Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered TLR : Available for the right candidate to lead a subject or key stage area In this role, you will: Teach a well-supported KS2 class and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons Work within a two-form structure to plan collaboratively and share best practice Take responsibility for progress and wellbeing, supporting pupils academically and pastorally Communicate effectively with parents and work positively as part of the school team (If applicable) Lead a subject area or key stage, supporting curriculum development and teacher confidence What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience or strong interest in Key Stage 2 A creative, reflective practitioner with a passion for high-quality education A warm, enthusiastic team player committed to inclusion and equity Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills Someone open to or ready for leadership responsibilities (for those interested in a TLR) Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs What We Offer A high-achieving, Ofsted Outstanding school with a strong sense of community A two-form entry structure with shared planning and mutual support Kind, curious, and engaged pupils who are a joy to teach A welcoming, values-led team of staff and leaders who support each other Flexible working options – both full-time and part-time welcomed Potential TLR for subject or phase leadership Strong CPD and opportunities for growth and progression A fantastic location in Walthamstow, with excellent links via Tube, Overground, and bus How to Apply?
