An ambitious Outstanding primary in Peterborough is recruiting a skilled Year 1 Teacher to take a Full-Time classroom from the January 2026 start . This Year 1 Teacher vacancy offers outstanding colleagues, excellent resources and a strong CPD programme for the Year 1 Teacher appointed for the January 2026 start . The successful Full-Time Year 1 Teacher will undertake handover and planning in the weeks ahead of the January 2026 start , attend induction sessions in the fortnight of the January 2026 start , and be fully teaching from the January 2026 start . • Year 1 Teacher — Full-Time position — January 2026 start • Outstanding primary in Peterborough seeking an exceptional Year 1 Teacher • Year 1 Teacher to join a highly supportive KS1 phase — January 2026 start The role — what the Year 1 Teacher will do As Year 1 Teacher , you will plan and deliver systematic phonics, lively guided reading sessions and creative writing units. The Year 1 Teacher will develop number confidence and independent learning skills. The Year 1 Teacher will use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions to accelerate progress. This Year 1 Teacher role is Full-Time , and the Full-Time Year 1 Teacher will be supported by skilled teaching assistants and leaders from day one of the January 2026 start . The Year 1 Teacher will be ready to contribute to the school’s enrichment programme and parental workshops following the January 2026 start .
