Economics Teacher – Hounslow, West London 💰 Inspire Future Economists and Business Leaders at a Successful Academy We are seeking an enthusiastic, academically ambitious, and committed Economics Teacher to join the successful faculty at a well-regarded secondary academy in the Hounslow area of West London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026 . Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 available The Opportunity The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Economics specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous, relevant lessons that connect theory with current affairs and global markets. You will be joining a supportive environment where intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills are prioritized. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice and contributing to the department's consistent record of placing students in related university courses. To attract an exceptional candidate, this role includes a generous Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum . Located in Hounslow , the school offers a dynamic setting with excellent transport links across West London. We Are Looking For: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) . A relevant degree in Economics or a closely related discipline. A proven track record as an excellent Economics Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level) . A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities. The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school. Salary and Benefits Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers. The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Outer London Pay Scale (The Outer London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £37,870 as of September 2025). A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum. Excellent, structured professional development and career progression pathways.
