About the Role A high-achieving and community-focused 11–18 secondary school in Shropshire is seeking an inspiring Teacher of Geography to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3–5 in a department that combines academic rigour with creativity and real-world learning. The role would suit a teacher who loves to make geography come alive — connecting global themes to local contexts and encouraging students to think critically about the world around them. The Department Geography is a vibrant and popular subject within the Humanities faculty. The team delivers a broad and balanced curriculum designed to stretch and inspire learners of all abilities. Fieldwork plays an essential part in the programme, with opportunities for both local and residential trips that give students hands-on experience.
