Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Teach Drama across Key Stage 3 (KS3), GCSE (KS4), and A-Level (KS5) , ensuring exceptional student engagement and attainment in all examination components. Performance & Direction: Direct and oversee school productions, drama clubs, and showcases, cultivating a strong culture of performance within the school community. Skill Development: Deliver practical workshops covering a diverse range of theatrical practitioners, styles, and techniques (e.g., physical theatre, naturalism, devising). Assessment & Feedback: Provide high-quality, constructive feedback on practical performance and written coursework to drive student progress. Candidate Profile: What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will combine strong academic credentials with a proven ability to lead and motivate students in the dramatic arts. Essential Requirements: Qualification: A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies , or a related Performing Arts discipline. Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification (PGCE). Experience: Proven success teaching Drama at secondary level, including expertise and strong outcomes at A-Level .
