Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Wolverhampton, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Art Department The Art department is a vibrant and creative part of the school, with a strong track record of showcasing outstanding student work and fostering a love of Art and Design. The department has excellent facilities, including specialist studios and exhibition spaces. As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to the department’s continued success. About the Role As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons. • Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing feedback. • Contributing to Art curriculum development and resource creation. • Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment. • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school. • Participating in professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications • Art related Degree • QTS or PGCE • Art Teacher Salary The salary for this Art Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
