Job description
Physics Teacher – Drive high-grade success in a state-of-the-art school – Waltham Forest A dynamic, forward-thinking secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a highly motivated Physics Teacher to join their thriving Science Faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent post offers the chance to work in a brand-new, purpose-built campus with exceptional laboratory facilities. Physics Specialist required from January 2026 Waltham Forest-based school on a new, modern campus Ideal for a specialist committed to practical work and inspiring STEM engagement at KS5 The successful applicant will teach Physics across KS3–KS5 , delivering rigorous content up to A-Level (AQA/Edexcel). The role involves leading complex practical investigations, mentoring students for competitive university applications, and contributing to the development of the school's new Engineering Club using the dedicated tech suite. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Physics or a relevant Engineering discipline Proven experience teaching A-Level Physics with strong outcomes Expertise in safely managing advanced laboratory equipment and practicals Commitment to using digital simulations and modern teaching methodologies School Information This Waltham Forest school has just moved into its new building, benefiting from significant investment in resources and IT infrastructure.
