Job description
History Teacher required January 2026 Good mixed school based in St Albans History Teacher to join a reflective, high-achieving and well-resourced Humanities department Our Client is looking for a History Teacher to teach KS3–KS4 History within an established and academically strong school in St Albans. The successful candidate will deliver a structured curriculum focusing on enquiry, debate, chronological understanding and analytical writing. Opportunities to support extra-curricular clubs such as history society, heritage workshops and local museum trips are available. School Information This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,400 students and maintains a long-standing reputation for strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes. The History department benefits from curated resource banks, digital content libraries, interactive textbooks and well-sequenced schemes of work that help deliver high-quality teaching across all year groups.
