Job description
An ambitious and dedicated Psychology Teacher is required to teach GCSE and A-Level for one of the leading Independent Schools in Oxford , starting January 2026 . Psychology Teacher Independent School Oxford January start Full time Experienced and ECT Psychology Teachers considered School Information This outstanding independent day and boarding school educates approximately 1,000 pupils aged 11 to 18 and consistently achieves exceptional academic results. The Psychology Department is one of the most popular and successful within the school, with students achieving well above national averages and many progressing to study Psychology, Medicine, or related subjects at Russell Group universities. The school offers a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, encouraging independent thinking and curiosity. Facilities are excellent, with modern classrooms, digital resources, and access to a well-equipped library. The department also promotes enrichment through Psychology Society events, guest lectures, and university-level research projects. Requirements Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage of their career, including ECTs. Both UK-trained and overseas-qualified Psychology Teachers will be considered. All applicants should hold QTS or an equivalent secondary school teaching qualification. Salary The salary for this Psychology Teacher position will be paid to scale on a direct contract (MPS/UPS).
