Reading, Berkshire | Full-Time/Permanent | Start July or September 2026 | MPS/UPS PayScale Inspire, motivate, and lead healthy futures! Role Overview As a PE ECT, you will: Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS5. Inspire pupils to develop skills, fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and supporting improvement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work, resources, and best practice. Lead or support co-curricular sports clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities. ECT Support & Development We provide: Dedicated mentor and induction tutor following the statutory Early Career Framework (ECF). Reduced timetable and protected planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time. Regular lesson observations with constructive feedback. Opportunities to participate in school-wide CPD programmes. Pathways to take on additional responsibilities as your experience grows. Female PE Teacher - Candidate Profile We are looking for a teacher who: Holds (or is due to achieve) QTS. Has a degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a closely related discipline. Demonstrates passion for teaching, fitness, and pupil development. Is willing to reflect on practice, learn, and develop professionally. Possesses strong organisation, communication, and classroom management skills.
