Stock Auditor

Stock Auditor Wanted — Keep Our Inventory Accurate & Our Operations Running Smoothly! We’re looking for a detail-driven Stock Auditor to help ensure our inventory is accurate, reliable, and well‑managed across the entire business. Working closely with the Stock Manager, you’ll support regular stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and help keep our stock data precise both physically and financially. Based in our Head Office in Witney, Oxfordshire. The job includes: Monitor all stock movements: goods-in/out, returns, credits, damages, transfers Investigate and resolve variances between system data and physical stock Assist in locating and recording misplaced stock Carry out cycle counts, spot checks, and full audits across all sites Accurately document discrepancies and update AS400 Work with Finance on stock losses and valuation concerns Manage quarantined stock Maintain accurate product data (codes, descriptions, measurements, etc.) Collaborate across departments to minimise errors and improve stock accuracy Provide reports, summaries, and recommendations for improvements Identify root causes of inefficiencies and propose solutions Communicate with suppliers when needed What will you bring to the role? Experience in stock control, auditing, warehousing, or similar industries Knowledge of supply chain or purchasing processes (advantageous) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical ability Proactive, organised, and methodical approach Confidence working in a fast-paced environment Good communication and team-working skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Willingness to undertake manual handling and work at heights FLT licence desirable (training provided if not held) About Certikin Certikin is a leading supplier of pool and spa products in the UK.
