Job description
A successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Colchester is seeking a passionate Teacher of Science to join their dedicated department from January 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate). This mixed 11–18 school, rated Good by Ofsted, prides itself on its strong academic results, excellent behaviour, and vibrant community ethos. With approximately 1,200 students on roll, the school offers a stimulating environment that encourages both students and staff to thrive. The Science Department is well-established and equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, digital learning tools, and a committed team of teachers and technicians. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to specialise in your preferred discipline—Biology, Chemistry, or Physics—at GCSE.
