Job description
A well-organised and supportive secondary school in Gloucester is seeking an experienced School Administrator to join its busy office team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a structured and professional school environment where strong administration and communication are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school and ensuring accurate data management. Key Responsibilities Providing general administrative support to the school office and senior leadership Managing pupil records and maintaining accurate data on the school MIS Handling telephone and email enquiries from parents and external stakeholders Supporting attendance processes and admissions administration Assisting with reports, correspondence, and document preparation Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience working in a school administrative role Experience using school MIS systems including SIMS, Arbor, and Bromcom Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Excellent organisational and communication skills The ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment A professional, friendly, and proactive approach This secondary school in Gloucester is known for its supportive leadership, positive working culture, and well-structured systems.
