Job description
Are you a passionate PE ECT ready to begin your teaching career in an Outstanding school? A high-performing 11–18 secondary school in Oxford is seeking a PE ECT for a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026. The school offers an exceptional ECT induction programme with dedicated mentoring and weekly CPD. PE ECT Full time January 2026 start KS3/4 (KS5 opportunities available) Excellent sports facilities School Information This mixed school, rated ‘Outstanding’, educates around 1,300 students and is widely recognised for its sporting excellence. Facilities include a modern sports hall, fitness studio, MUGA pitches, dance studio, and extensive playing fields. The PE department is supportive, energetic, and well-resourced. As an ECT, you will receive structured support, regular observations, and opportunities to assist with clubs, fixtures, and inter-school competitions. Experience and Qualifications PGCE + QTS (or on track to achieve QTS) Strong knowledge of KS3/4 PE Confident, enthusiastic, and committed to student development Salary Paid on M1 – ECT pay scale.
