Job description
Are you passionate about inspiring creativity and musical excellence? A high-achieving Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Suffolk is looking for a dedicated Music Teacher to join their thriving department this January on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers ready to bring energy and vision to the music curriculum. The successful Music Teacher will have a strong passion for teaching practical and theoretical music, engaging students across KS3 and KS4, with potential to teach KS5. You should be enthusiastic about nurturing talent and building students’ confidence through performance and composition. School Information: The school is well-known for its commitment to the performing arts, with excellent facilities including a dedicated music suite, rehearsal spaces, and a range of instruments. Students consistently achieve above national expectations, and the wider school community is vibrant and supportive. The Music department enjoys a strong reputation, regularly putting on concerts and productions that enrich school life. Experience and Qualifications: Music Teacher to Key Stage 3/4 (KS5 desirable) QTS or PGCE required Degree in Music or related subject Salary: The salary for this Music Teacher position will be paid on MPS/UPS depending on experience and current pay scale.
