This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to work with pupils at a crucial stage in their primary education, guiding them through their final year and preparing them for the transition to secondary school. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering high-quality teaching across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will plan engaging and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity, build resilience, and ensure pupils achieve their full academic and personal potential. Maintaining high standards of behaviour, presentation, and achievement will be essential, while ensuring all pupils feel supported and included. Collaboration is central to our approach. You will work closely with colleagues across the phase, support staff, and leadership to ensure continuity of learning, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in whole-school improvement initiatives. Assessment will be used effectively to monitor progress, inform planning, and identify next steps for every child. This role is suitable for experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs with strong KS2 experience. The school provides excellent support for staff wellbeing and professional development, including mentoring, CPD, and opportunities to contribute to school-wide initiatives.
