Job description
We are currently seeking an inspiring, innovative and highly committed Art Teacher to join an excellent and creatively driven secondary school in Bath. This full-time, permanent role begins January 2026, offering an outstanding opportunity to teach in a school with a strong artistic culture and a history of exceptional student outcomes. About the Role • Teaching Art across KS3–KS4 (KS5 depending on experience) • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity • Supporting students with coursework, portfolio development and exam projects • Contributing to after-school clubs, exhibitions and creative events • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum • Encouraging experimentation, skill-building and personal expression • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and presentation Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Art, Fine Art or related creative field • PGCE with QTS • Strong practical and artistic skills across multiple media • Ability to inspire students of all abilities • Strong organisational and communication skills Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS.
