Job description
Our client, a highly regarded independent 11–18 school in Wolverhampton, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to support student wellbeing and behaviour within a high-achieving school community. • Behaviour Mentor required – full-time, permanent • Prestigious Independent School in Wolverhampton • Key role within the pastoral support team • Opportunity to contribute to an inclusive and supportive school culture • ASAP start The successful Behaviour Mentor will work closely with Heads of Year, teachers, and the SENCo to support pupils who require additional behavioural or emotional guidance. You will help create a positive learning environment, implement behaviour strategies, and provide one-to-one or small-group interventions to develop students’ self-regulation, resilience, and social skills. The school is seeking an individual who is empathetic, consistent, and proactive, with a genuine commitment to supporting young people to succeed academically and personally. Experience and Qualifications • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or mentoring capacity desirable • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to remain calm, consistent, and professional in challenging situations • A proactive and solution-focused approach • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing About the School This independent school in Wolverhampton is recognised for combining academic excellence with outstanding pastoral care.
