Science ECT required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Portsmouth Science ECT to join a thriving and well-supported department Our Client is looking for a Science ECT to work within a high-performing comprehensive school in Portsmouth. The successful Science ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and receive strong guidance during their induction year. School Information This 11–18 mixed school has approximately 1,200 students and consistently performs above national averages, with 92% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Science department is well-equipped with modern laboratories and offers engaging practical experiences to enhance learning. The school provides ECTs with structured support, including regular feedback, mentoring and tailored CPD sessions. Staff describe the culture as energetic, forward-thinking and committed to both student and teacher development.
