Job description
Our client is seeking an ECT Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Watford. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Maths , following a well-sequenced curriculum designed to strengthen reasoning, fluency and problem-solving skills. As an early career teacher, you will receive high-quality mentoring, reduced timetable allocation and structured support tailored to your induction. School Information This 11–18 academy educates approximately 1,350 students and consistently achieves strong academic outcomes across all subjects. The Maths department is well resourced with interactive classrooms, digital platforms and well-mapped schemes of work that support ECT development. Students show high engagement and benefit from a curriculum that encourages confidence, curiosity and analytical thinking. Teachers describe the school as collaborative, well led and committed to staff growth. Leadership prioritises wellbeing, manageable workload and instructional coaching. ECTs receive weekly mentor meetings, regular CPD and clear support systems within a calm and professional environment. Salary Paid to scale on MPS1 .
