Job description
Biology Teacher – Shape the Future of Science in Shrewsbury Information About the Biology Teacher Role We are seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join our school in Shrewsbury, starting in April. The ideal candidate will be committed to making biology come to life through hands-on experiments and engaging lessons. As a Biology Teacher, you will provide students with a strong foundation in biological sciences, covering topics such as genetics, ecology, and cellular biology. Biology Teacher Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver comprehensive biology lessons. Engage students through practical activities and experiments. Provide tailored support to students of varying abilities. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. Biology Teacher Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. Strong knowledge of biology and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. Ability to motivate students and foster a love of science. Previous experience in teaching biology is preferred.
