Job description
We are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hounslow that is seeking a dynamic KS2 Teacher to join their enthusiastic team on a part-time basis (4 days a week) , starting after the October half-term . The school is committed to providing an exceptional education and fostering a supportive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. KS2 Teacher Start: After October Half-Term 2025 Part-Time (4 days per week) Permanent Contract The School This welcoming primary school in Hounslow prides itself on its inclusive ethos and diverse community. The passionate team of educators works collaboratively to create engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. Every child is valued and supported to reach their full potential in a nurturing environment. KS2 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for KS2 students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting learning targets. Implement teaching strategies that meet the needs of a diverse classroom. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and whole-school activities. KS2 Teacher Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching KS2 in a primary school setting. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs. Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative working. Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching in a team environment.
