Job description
A high-achieving independent Boys' Day School situated in the heart of Westminster, Central London, and noted for its outstanding STEM outcomes, requires a Teacher of Science (Physics Specialist) for a Permanent, Full-Time position, starting January 2026. Compensation & Contract Job Title : Teacher of Science Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Competitive salary structured on the independent school pay scale. The Role The successful Teacher of Science will primarily teach Physics up to A-Level, while also providing instruction in Key Stage 3 Science. The Teacher of Science will be responsible for inspiring intellectual curiosity and ensuring scientific excellence among all pupils. The Teacher of Science will oversee and manage complex laboratory practicals and advanced experimental work. Full commitment to developing the whole boy through robust pastoral care and co-curricular involvement is essential for the Teacher of Science. The school seeks a highly professional and dynamic Teacher of Science to enrich its faculty. The department anticipates welcoming a new, expert Teacher of Science to its specialist team. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent high-level independent sector teaching experience.
