Job description
Computer Science ECT – Outstanding Secondary School, Sutton Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This Outstanding secondary school in Sutton serves students aged 11–18 and is recognised for its innovative approach to teaching and learning. The school places a strong emphasis on digital literacy, problem-solving, and preparing students for future careers in technology. Leadership is highly supportive, and the school provides a structured and nurturing environment for ECTs, including reduced timetables, high-quality mentoring, and regular professional development. Role Information The school is seeking a motivated Computer Science ECT to join a forward-thinking department. You will teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, introducing students to programming, computational thinking, and digital systems. You will be supported to develop engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum planning, and explore enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs and STEM activities.
