An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented Early Career Teacher of Music to join a high-achieving secondary school in Gloucester from January 2026. About the Role As a Music ECT , you will teach Music across KS3–KS5 , fostering students’ creativity, performance skills, and musical appreciation. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver well-structured, inspiring lessons across KS3–KS5 that support both performance and theoretical understanding. Prepare and assess students for GCSE and A-Level qualifications, developing their analytical and compositional skills. Lead or assist with school ensembles, choirs, and musical productions. Use digital software, notation tools, and recording equipment effectively in teaching. Contribute to whole-school events, concerts, and open evenings that celebrate the arts. Engage fully with the school’s ECT induction and professional development programme.
