As a School Administrator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day office tasks, acting as a first point of contact for parents and visitors, and maintaining accurate school records. You will play a key role in supporting staff and ensuring smooth communication across the school. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for parents, carers, staff, and visitors Answer and manage telephone calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently Maintain accurate pupil records, including attendance and personal information Assist with admissions, enrolment, and data management processes Support staff with administrative tasks, reports, and documentation Organise school events, meetings, and communications Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office systems Ensure confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding procedures are followed The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Have experience in school or office administration Be highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be confident using Microsoft Office and school management systems Be professional, approachable, and adaptable Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing Be able to work independently and as part of a team The school is located in Hackney, with excellent transport links and a supportive local community.
