Job description
A welcoming, inclusive two-form entry primary school in West London (Ealing) is seeking an experienced and confident SEND Teacher to join their supportive team on a full-time, long-term basis from January 2026 . Location: West London (Ealing Borough) Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Long-term agency role Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (Full-time) Key Stage: Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 6) The Role This position is ideal for a SEND specialist who thrives on structure, collaboration, and making a measurable impact on pupil outcomes. - Morning responsibilities: Teaching a small group of Year 6 pupils with SEND (core subjects – Maths, English, Reading). - Afternoon responsibilities: Providing cover and PPA support across the Year 6 cohort. - Team support: Working closely with three Year 6 class teachers and three experienced support staff. - Curriculum support: Planning is already in place and regularly updated by the year group team. - Technology: The school operates as a Microsoft Teams environment, with digital planning and resource sharing. About the School Located in a well-connected part of Ealing, the school is recognised for its strong leadership, inclusive ethos, and commitment to high expectations for all pupils , including those with SEND. It has a diverse and friendly community, a stable and experienced staff team, and a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Ideal Candidate - Qualified teacher with proven SEND experience (primary or upper KS2). - Confident delivering differentiated core subject teaching. - Strong communicator, able to work effectively as part of a team. - Adaptable, organised, and proactive. - Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is an advantage (training can be provided). This is a long-term agency post with the potential for ongoing opportunities in a supportive and ambitious school environment.
