Job description
A prestigious independent Girls' School in Harrow, renowned for its academic selectivity and strong humanities focus, requires an ambitious ECT of History for a Permanent, Full-Time position. The start date for this role is ASAP (Immediate Start). Compensation & Contract Job Title: ECT of History Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start) Salary: Competitive independent school salary, with induction support tailored for an immediate start. The Role The successful ECT of History will instruct pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), with the possibility of supporting A-Level classes. The ECT of History will be mentored by a senior colleague to ensure rapid professional growth and be supported through the induction period. The school requires the ECT of History to contribute to the school's strong ethos of critical thinking and independent study. The ECT of History will benefit from a dedicated and experienced departmental team. This is an immediate opportunity for a talented ECT of History. The appointed ECT of History will assist in promoting the intellectual life of the school. We welcome applications from committed individuals for the role of ECT of History.
