Job description
The Opportunity A successful and forward-thinking secondary school and Sixth Form in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its well-established department from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, in a thriving school that combines academic excellence with a strong sense of community and inclusion. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a teacher who: Holds QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification Has strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach at GCSE and A-Level in one or more specialisms Plans and delivers engaging, practical lessons that foster curiosity and deep understanding Uses assessment and feedback effectively to promote rapid progress Works collaboratively within a large, supportive team and contributes to the wider life of the school Experience in leading enrichment, STEM clubs or fieldwork projects would be an advantage. You will also have opportunities to contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and extra-curricular science enrichment, including clubs, competitions and partnerships with local organisations and universities.
