Science Teacher – Independent Secondary School – Reading – September Start 📍 Location: Reading 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: Competitive, based on experience An outstanding independent secondary school in Reading is looking for a passionate Science Teacher to join their well-established department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in an independent school with excellent facilities and a strong commitment to academic excellence. Your Role as a Science Teacher: ✔ Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3, KS4, and KS5. ✔ Develop students’ scientific knowledge through practical experiments and critical thinking. ✔ Monitor and assess student progress to provide constructive feedback. ✔ Work collaboratively with the department to continually improve the Science curriculum. ✔ Get involved with extracurricular activities, such as Science clubs and events. Who We’re Looking For: ✔ Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent). ✔ Passionate about Science and inspiring students to reach their potential. ✔ Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum, with the ability to teach all three sciences. ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ✔ Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one). ✔ If you’re an enthusiastic Science Teacher ready to inspire students in an independent school environment, apply today for a September start!
