Job description
A distinguished Independent School in Hampshire is recruiting a permanent, full-time Teacher of Economics, starting January 2026. This role requires a specialist ready to teach ambitious students. About the School This prestigious boarding and day school is known for its excellent academic achievements and its dedicated focus on preparing students for top-tier universities. The Economics department promotes rigorous teaching, critical debate, and strong real-world application. Staff benefit from small class sizes and a supportive culture that values independent and deep thinking. Responsibilities You will deliver rigorous instruction in Economics across Key Stages 4 (iGCSE) and 5 (A-Level). Your focus is driving high attainment in sophisticated micro and macro-economic analysis. You must mentor students in application processes and lead academic societies and enrichment programmes. Requirements You must hold a Degree in Economics or a closely related field, with extensive experience teaching to A-Level. You must have the right to work in the UK.
