SEN Teacher – Inclusive SEN School – Christchurch – April Start Location: Christchurch | Contract: Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance An inspiring and inclusive SEN school in Christchurch is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join its supportive and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students with various additional needs and make a meaningful impact on their academic and personal growth. Your Role as SEN Teacher: • Teach students with a range of special educational needs, developing personalized learning plans. • Work closely with teaching assistants and external agencies to support student progress. • Provide one-to-one or small group support, ensuring students are fully engaged in lessons. • Develop students’ social, emotional, and academic skills to ensure they can succeed in mainstream or specialized settings. • Contribute to the school’s ethos of inclusion and respect for diversity. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified SEN Teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs. • Experience working with students with a variety of SEN needs (or a strong desire to work in this area). • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and parents. • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
