Are you an experienced Biology teacher ready to take on a leadership role and drive excellence within a successful Science department? This could be an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of Biology within a supportive and forward-thinking school. • Well-regarded secondary school based in Weymouth • Subject Lead of Biology within a strong Science department • Full-time position | April start Our client is seeking an ambitious and knowledgeable Subject Lead of Biology to join a secondary school in Weymouth from April. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Biology specialist looking to step into subject leadership or for an existing Subject Lead seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the strategic development of Biology across KS3, KS4 & KS5, ensuring high standards of teaching, strong curriculum planning, and excellent student outcomes. You will support and mentor colleagues, monitor attainment and progress within Biology, and work closely with the Head of Science to drive departmental improvement. The Science department is well resourced, with modern laboratory facilities, strong technician support, and a collaborative team of subject specialists. Leadership is supportive and committed to professional development and continuous improvement.
