Job description
Exams Officer – Good Secondary School, Sheffield Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School information: This is a 11 to 18 well-established, Good Ofsted Rated Secondary School in Sheffield with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The school serves a diverse community and is known for its inclusive ethos and supportive staff culture, where positive relationships and high expectations underpin daily practice. Exams Team: The exams function is a crucial part of the school’s operations and supports both internal and external assessment processes. The school has well-established exam systems and a supportive senior leadership team that values accuracy, compliance and clear organisation. The exams officer works closely with Heads of Year, SEN staff, Heads of Department and external awarding bodies to ensure all exam entries, access arrangements and timetables are managed efficiently. Requirements • Experience in an exams officer role or strong administrative experience • Knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam processes (desirable) • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information • Confidence using school systems and Microsoft Office • Calm, professional approach when working under pressure Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
