Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Music Teacher to join a prestigious, high-achieving independent school in Chelmsford. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in February 2026, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Music and dedicated to inspiring young people to excel. The Role As a Music Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across KS3–KS5, supporting students to reach their full potential. Contribute to the continued success of a well-resourced and high-performing Music department. Foster a genuine enthusiasm for Music, including involvement in extracurricular programmes and fixtures. Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the school’s high standards in teaching, learning, and behaviour. About the School This independent school is regularly ranked among the top 35 schools in Essex and enjoys a national reputation for academic excellence. Recent outcomes include: 85% A–B grades at A-level Music 89% grades 9–7 at GCSE across the school The school is oversubscribed and highly regarded within the community.
